So I’m jumping right into spring recipes even though our pipes froze this am 🥶 ❄️ Tzatziki is one of my favorite things in ALL the culinary world. It’s so fresh, flavorful, and bright, like 🌞in a bowl. So many people buy crappy store-made versions and I’m here to say 🙅🏼‍♀️ this takes MAX 10 mins, 6-7 ingredients, and is delishhh. 🥒🍋🫓

Hello 👋🏻! A little intro to share a bit about myself and Stirs & Stripes. I'm from Connecticut, but have also lived in 🇬🇧, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, DC, TN, VA, and currently call home Pittsburgh, PA. I have a hard time staying still! All of these places and experiences influence how I approach cooking and what food means to me and my family.

I started Stirs & Stripes as a hobby in 2018, but after working for over a decade in nonprofit fundraising (I have an MPA in Nonprofit Management) I decided to focus on my blog (and two kids) full time. Still super scary!

My goal with Stirs & Stripes is to celebrate global comfort food and refresh classic dishes in a way that is approachable, accessible, and achievable for every home cook.

A few fun facts: alumna @conncollege @nyuwagner, I collect mugs and embarrassing t-shirts, am a big book nerd, dream of covering my entire house in wallpaper, love a good whisky 🥃, and am mildly fanatic about holidays 🎄 Thank you for following along!

My 5 yo did this one, and yes I'm choosing to share a perfectly imperfect home pizza with you. This is a super easy white pizza topped with prosciutto, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, and fresh mozz. Drizzle with balsamic or 🌶🍯 Buon appetito!⁣
